I started this picture taking journey on February 1st….I am to take a picture every day for the month of February of the love I have for my loved ones.  Its called the Joy of Love…..

Sound easy?  You try it….totally hard but I am loving it and it makes me pick up the camera for my own children.  As a photographer, I tend to not photograph my children (completely horrible I know) since its always by my face for other people.  That, and Lydia bursts (literally bursts) into tears when I ask her for a picture.   So I had to get sneaky….:)

Love love her but I will tell you that she is the worst to photograph.  Horrible.  She will do anything in her power to not look and smile.  This one was a success because it didn’t start and end in tears. 🙂

I didn’t have a chance to do what I wanted to do….but here is a picture of Lydia holding her great grandmothers bell. 🙂  It was at her house for as long as I can remember and has a very special spot in our house.

what they have said, done, promised or given.  Yes – a little sappy BUT really….lots of unconditional love has been given to me.  🙂  i can’t help but smile.

Day one started with a picture of memory. And day 9 we have added more. When I say she loves it – I mean she really loves it and asks……over and over and over again. 🙂  Joseph on the other hand is tad little for a hobby but he is sooo ready to crawl and tries soo hard every day to get there. 🙂

I have this thing against recliners –  just not my thing.  BUT my husband was dreaming of one.  Enter our compromise : a not too puffy lime green one. I figured at least the color is cute. 🙂

Lydia loves to be comfy covered up in the chair holding something, anything electronic. 🙂

These are my dreams :

A life with……good friends/family, music, faith to keep us strong, family memories, journals of the things my children do to make me smile, and the simple things in life that brighten my day.

{joy of love} day 13: routines.

This routine is more of a stalling technique at bedtime.  She tries to use this so she doesn’t have to go bed and takes FOREVER.  We are on to her…..:)

Married almost 6 years – here is my wedding ring and my two bands – one of which was a surprise on my wedding day. 🙂  And I love my pandora bracelet – it makes me happy. 🙂
