{the circus} appleton wi child photographer

I tend to be an overthinker – I think and think and think and never do things.  Which totally bugs me……and for the last few months…I have been putting together ideas for a circus themed session in my head – something different than the normal session. Something cool and crazy.  Then I went to the Shannon Sewell workshop  (which was fabulous as was she) and learned some fabulous things and just got excited.  She mentioned that every so often she does sessions that are just for her – something new or different and just to have fun.  I loved that and stopped overthinking…..so well, I did it….ha!  I did a session just for me  – just for fun and knew that if it totally didn’t work – it wouldn’t matter. So there, no pressure…whew…and it felt good.  I wanted something simple that didn’t cost a lot of money  so I collected some children (hehe) and I already started on collecting props and making them and with some help of some lovely people, we put together a session full of fun and with a little different look.   And I think I love it…..and I loved that I was able to take what was in my brain and make it real.   So here are a BUNCH of pictures. The plus side of doing this just for me is that I can share as many as I want – yay!
